Blake Morgan named Private Client Team of the Year at prestigious awards
Blake Morgan’s Succession & Tax team in Cardiff has been named as the Private Client Team of the Year at the 2023 Wales Legal Awards.
To win this award the Private Client team demonstrated outstanding performance in providing truly exceptional and bespoke legal advice to clients in relation to their private affairs.
Lisa Davies, Partner in Blake Morgan’s Cardiff office and Head of the Wales Succession & Tax team who specialises in administration of estates, advising on inheritance tax, Will planning, trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney, commented:
It was a fantastic evening and great to be recognised as the Private Client Team of the Year. The team is dedicated to their clients and this is just reward for their efforts. We want to make sure that the right legal plans and structures are in place for our clients to ensure that their estates are carefully looked after and dealt with in a tax-efficient and appropriate manner.
Blake Morgan’s Public Law team were also named as finalists at the awards, recognising their outstanding performance in providing bespoke and tailored advice on the welfare and rights of their clients, in addition to increasing access to justice in Wales.
The Wales Legal Awards celebrate excellence in teams practising in and providing services within the legal profession in Wales. The awards are judged by an independent judging panel comprising of established innovators, peer-regarded experts and commentators who are all highly experienced in identifying distinct added-value and outstanding achievements that benefit clients, the legal sector itself and wider society in Wales and beyond.
