Blake Morgan supports Welsh Housing Awards 2021

Blake Morgan were delighted to sponsor a category in the Chartered Institute of Housing’s (CIH) Welsh Housing Awards 2021.

Winners were announced at a special virtual ceremony on 1 October. Blake Morgan has worked with CIH in Wales for a number of years and in pre-pandemic times sponsored their annual conference.

The Welsh Housing Awards are a major event in CIH’s calendar. This year, Blake Morgan sponsored the ‘Delivering high quality homes’ award which was won by Wales & West Housing who partnered with Hale Construction for its development at Ffordd Yr Haearn in Cardiff. The category showcased the fantastic, forward thinking development projects being undertaken by housing providers in Wales.

The Welsh Housing Awards recognise the creativity, passion and innovation of housing organisations and individuals across the sector in Wales. Despite the challenges faced by the pandemic, this year’s awards received 73 entries across 12 categories, including communications in a crisis, best frontline housing story and excellence in leadership.
