Enable Law acquires Blake Morgan’s Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Costs teams

Posted on 31st July 2020
Blake Morgan has announced that following a strategic review, their Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Costs teams have been transferred to Enable Law.

Enable Law, a specialist medical negligence, personal injury and mental capacity firm, will take on three Blake Morgan Partners and 22 staff, leaving Blake Morgan to continue to focus on its expanding health care portfolio.

Careful consideration of the marketplace was undertaken prior to the decision being made and Enable Law was considered the best possible fit for the Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Costs teams staff and clients. The addition of the new team members makes Enable Law one the largest specialist medical negligence firms in the South of the UK.

The transfer means Partners Alison McClure, Kym Provan and John White will move across to Enable Law. The three partners have played a key role in transforming the Blake Morgan Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Costs teams, and have industry-leading reputations.

Blake Morgan’s Managing Partner, Mike Wilson, said: “Today we are announcing the successful transfer of our Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury group to Enable Law.  While we’re sorry to see our colleagues go, Enable Law is the best fit for the practice, and it allows Blake Morgan to focus efforts on growing our healthcare work.  We believe it’s the right move for the firm and Enable Law will be able to invest further in the great work the teams have done to date – and no doubt will continue to do. We wish our colleagues and Enable Law the very best for the future.”
