A record number of lawyers from national law firm Blake Morgan have been recognised in the 2026 Chambers High Net Worth Guide, which identifies the top performing lawyers and firms within the UK’s private wealth sector. Eleven lawyers from the firm’s Private Wealth teams were ranked this year – an increase from the record number of eight, which was set in 2025.
For a fourth consecutive year, four of Blake Morgan’s Private Wealth teams achieved the highly regarded ranking of Band 2. This includes the Private Wealth Law teams from Wales, Oxford and Southampton, in addition to the Private Wealth Disputes team in the Thames Valley. The firm’s Private Wealth Law team in London was also ranked for the first time, achieving a Band 6 ranking.
In the 2026 Guide, clients highlighted the team’s “depth of knowledge, user-friendliness and interest in their clients’ affairs”, as well as its “seamless” administration and “caring, professional approach”. Clients praised Blake Morgan’s London team for providing “consistently excellent and high-standard legal services”, with “clear and timely communication at every stage of the process”.
Leading individual lawyers were also acknowledged by the Guide and ranked for offering outstanding legal advice. This year, eleven of Blake Morgan’s experts were singled out, including Partner Lisa Davies who retained her prestigious Band 1 ranking in Wales. Karmen Ko and Jonathan Sleep also maintained their rankings as Star Associates in London and Southampton respectively.
Clients recognised Lisa as “a very good, technical lawyer” who “does complex work to a high calibre”, while Jonathan was praised for his “evident professionalism” and desire to provide the best service to his clients. Karmen was described as “thorough, well informed, on point” and someone who “makes useful and intelligent points”.
Paula Shea and Simon Treherne retained their Band 2 and Band 3 rankings respectively in Southampton, while James Greig retained his Band 3 ranking and Kathryn Woodward remained an Associate to Watch in Oxford. Clients praised Paula as “highly professional yet always approachable”, Simon for offering “practical, relevant advice”, James for his “comprehensive knowledge”, and Kathryn for being “extremely helpful, extremely efficient and supportive”.
The 2026 Guide also recognised several Blake Morgan lawyers for the first time. Daniel Church achieved a Band 5 ranking in London, while Sarah Street and Victoria Lea-Holton were named Associates to Watch in Wales and the Thames Valley respectively. Clients said Daniel “went above and beyond” for them, Sarah was able to make complex processes “so much easier” through her knowledge and clear communication, and Victoria provided “measured, practical” advice in an exceptionally complex case.
