Third consecutive Property Law Firm of the Year award for Blake Morgan

Blake Morgan was named Property Law Firm of the year for the third year running at the Insider Media Wales Property Awards 2025.

On Thursday, 12 June at The Coal Exchange, Blake Morgan were celebrating winning the award, having also been named as finalists in two other categories.

The awards, which spotlight the property deals, professional advisers, developments, construction companies, developers and personalities which made a big impact in the year to February 2025, is in its 20th year.

The winner of the Property Law Firm of the Year had to show that they advised in property transactions that made a big impact on Wales’s property market in the qualifying period.

James Egan, Partner in the Property Group in Cardiff, commented:

We are delighted to win the award again. It is a great achievement and shows the dedication of the team.

I want to thank everyone for their expertise and commitment, which has been duly recognised for the third year running.

Highlights from the team’s work in the last year included providing advice on Linc Cymru Housing Association’s acquisition of a site in Oakdale and working with Zip World on property aspects of its investment from Dolphin Capital.

The other categories where the leading law firm were shortlisted were the Sustainability Award and the Residential Development of the Year, which was for the Mill (final phase) in Cardiff.

Blake Morgan also sponsored the Commercial Development of the Year award, which was Albert Hall, Swansea, involving Loft Co, Rio Architects, RPA Surveyors, RNF Construction, Development Bank of Wales, Welsh Government, Swansea Council.
