James Heafford

James is an Associate within our Commercial Litigation team based in the Oxford office.

Main areas of practice

James is currently assisting the Commercial Litigation team in the Thames Valley, and covers a range of disputes including contractual, shareholder, company, fraud, and contentious probate.

He has also spent time as a trainee in the Real Estate, Property Litigation, Professional Regulatory and Family teams.

Career

Prior to joining Blake Morgan, James graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2017 with a 2:1 degree in Law with German and German Law, before going on to achieve a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction in his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in 2020.

He started his training contact with the firm in September 2020 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2022.
