Leading law firm Blake Morgan has announced a raft of new summer promotions, recognising the excellent work of its employees over the past year, and the exceptional service they provide for clients across the firm’s UK offices.

Twenty-three lawyers and seven business support staff are being promoted this year, covering a range of business groups from property services, commercial litigation, and private client, through to regulatory, construction, and others. The promotions include five new Legal Directors: Tanya Barrett, Rob Jefferies, Kirsteen Mace, Rachel Sales, and Lucy Mosley.

The property services team is celebrating a particularly strong year with six promotions. As well as the new legal directors Rachel Sales and Tanya Barrett, Susan Bartlett is now a Senior Associate, while Katie Edwards, Elin Meredith, and Matthew Ivey are all promoted to Associate.

Lawyers in Blake Morgan’s regulatory team have also seen several new promotions.  In addition to new Legal Director Lucy Mosley, both Stephen Parish (FCILEx) and Gem Casey are becoming Senior Associates, while Lily Keeping has been promoted to Associate.

There were also significant progressions within the private client team, with four people stepping into new roles.  Rachel Giles is moving up to Senior Associate, and both Emily Havard and Annabel Winsor are appointed Associates.  Beth Burton has also risen up the ranks to Senior Paralegal.

Three new promotions have been announced in the commercial litigation team, with Elin Walker and Vikki Sidaway both moving up to Senior Associate, while Amy Taylor-Morris becomes an Associate.

Blake Morgan’s construction team saw two promotions – new Legal Director Kirsteen Mace and Associate Rebecca Munday – while there were also two new progressions in the commercial and charities team. Rob Jefferies steps into a new role as Legal Director, and Emma Shakeshaft is promoted to Associate.

Additionally, Rhian Davies is now a Senior Associate in the banking and finance team, while in the Employment, Pensions, Benefits and Immigration (EPBI) team, Natasha Newlin has been promoted to Associate.

There have also been several progressions within Blake Morgan’s key business support services, with Vicky Hanks taking on an expanded role as Head of Business Development and Marketing and Gordon Edmondson becoming Facilities Operations Manager. In the finance team, Abbie Cartwright rises to Legal Cashier Supervisor, while both Natalie Radford and Charly Shugar take up new roles as Senior Legal Cashiers, and Johnathan Trotman is promoted to Legal Cashier. In addition to this, Lianne Whillier has become Partnership Accountant.
