Blake Morgan announces 49 promotions across UK offices

Leading law firm Blake Morgan has announced a host of new summer promotions, recognising the exceptional work of its employees over the past year, and the excellent service they provide for clients across its London, Cardiff, Reading, Oxford, and Southampton offices.

38 lawyers and 11 business support staff have seen their hard work rewarded by promotions this year, covering a range of business groups from commercial litigation, private client, and property services, through to construction, regulatory, corporate, and more.

Within this number, Blake Morgan welcomes four new Legal Directors: Spencer Gardner, Natalie Lawley, Tom Walker, and Joe Cowles.

The regulatory team is celebrating an impressive year with seven promotions.  Alongside new Legal Director Tom Walker, Candice Rogers is now a Senior Associate, and Emma Cussell (FCILEx), Mila Ragi, and Rachel Phillips have been promoted to Associate.  Meanwhile Vicky Lynch, and Avinash Bhawon have risen to Senior Administrators.

There were also significant progressions within the commercial litigation team, with six people stepping into new roles.  In addition to new Legal Director, Joe Cowles, Daniel E Taylor is moving up to be a Senior Associate, and Victoria Lea-Holton, Amy Pitt, and James Heafford are all being promoted to Associate.  Kristy Cooper is also now an Operations Manager.

Lawyers in Blake Morgan’s construction team saw success with five promotions.  Alongside Natalie Taylor, and Gemma Hill, who are becoming Senior Associates, Miles Murphy, and Blaise Joubert are now Associates, and Elina Mockevicute (FCILEx) has also become an Associate.

Elsewhere, there were four promotions within the private client team.  As well as new Legal Director Spencer Gardner, Laura Richards and Amy Maher are both stepping up to become Senior Associates, and Rebecca Mayho has been promoted to Associate.

The property services team has enjoyed four promotions, with new Legal Director Natalie Lawley, Jade Curran becoming a Senior Associate, Michael Woonton an Associate, and Jordan Jones a Senior Paralegal.

In corporate, there were also four promotions.  Jodie Grove, Katie Newham, Toby Price, and Sara Trevor have each taken on new roles as Associates.

The commercial recoveries team saw two promotions this year, as Seun Agboola has been promoted to Senior Litigation Paralegal, and Steven Phillips to Supervisor while three lawyers on the travel team were promoted.  Katherine Ettridge is now a Senior Associate, and Victoria O’Brien and Daryl Campion both move up to become Senior Paralegals.

Laura Sherratt is now a Senior Associate in the commercial and charities team while Richard Rogers has moved up to Senior Associate in the banking and finance team. In the Employment, Pensions, Benefits and Immigration (EPBI) team, Hannah Waterworth has been promoted to Associate.

Blake Morgan’s business support services have also seen several progressions.  On the risk and compliance team, Hannah Heyworth is stepping up to become a Senior Associate, and Daniel A Taylor is now Risk & Compliance Manager, while Sandra Spruce has been promoted to Risk and Compliance Senior Executive.  Kevin Buckingham is a new IT Programme Manager, and in the Business Development and Marketing Team, Elaine Law has taken on the role of CRM Lead.

In HR, Patricia Bourne progresses to Senior Reward and Benefits Advisor, and Sue Lindop has been appointed Senior Resourcing Advisor.  The finance team saw a range of promotions, with Veselina Minkova and Caitlin O’Driscoll promoted to roles as Legal Cashiers, Abbie Cartwright becoming a Senior Legal Cashier, while Roksana Malec is moving up to become Revenue Controller.
