Blake Morgan announces 54 promotions celebrating talent across the UK
Leading law firm Blake Morgan has announced a wide range of promotions, recognising the hard work of colleagues and the outstanding service they deliver across its offices in London, Cardiff, Reading, Oxford and Southampton. In total, 48 lawyers and six senior support staff have been promoted across diverse specialisms including banking, finance, tax, property, and commercial litigation.
The firm is pleased to welcome six new Legal Directors – Jake Holmes, Tomos Lewis, Simon Lewis, Kate Howell, Hollie Jones and Tina Whitman – alongside the promotion of Stuart Robinson to Finance Director.
The property team celebrates an especially strong year with 15 promotions. In addition to Hollie Jones’ new role, Gurbir Pattar, Emma Gardner, Abbie Rorsman, Susan Bartlett and Jonathan Williams have become Associates, while Rhiannon Peploe‑Williams and Felicity Marshall step up to Senior Associate. Sam Bevan, Catrin Wehden, Shinto Paulose, Emma Bilton, Sara Powell and Emma Fell are now Senior Paralegals, and James Boschat has been promoted to Senior Solicitor.
The private client team also sees seven promotions: Andrew Lane, Amy Larcome, Rachel Knight and Jessica Howard become Senior Solicitors; Mark Barnaby is promoted to Senior Tax Technician; Stephen Evans becomes Senior Associate; and Dionne Yates takes on a new role as Executive Assistant.
The commercial litigation team is celebrating seven promotions as well. Alex Lepretre, Catherine Levi and Holly Spencer‑Briggs have advanced to Senior Solicitors, James Lamond becomes Senior Paralegal, and Katie Warner, Nicola O’Driscoll and Vikki Sidaway all become Associates.
In the regulatory team, six colleagues have been promoted. Alongside new Legal Director Tina Whitman, Stephen Parish has been promoted to Associate, while Sarah Price, Lisa Clark and Alison Wood step up as Senior Associates. Kirsty Gilbert‑Wood has also been appointed Group Operations Manager.
The construction team sees two new Legal Directors – Simon Lewis and Kate Howell – as well as promotions for Natalie Taylor (Associate) and Sophie Latham (Senior Solicitor). In the banking team, Richard Rogers and Rhian Davies become Associates, and Iona Easton becomes Senior Associate, joining new Legal Director Jake Holmes.
The commercial recovery team has also grown, with Sarah Athwal and Fleur Hawkey promoted to Litigation Paralegals, and Sheldon Panaino to Senior Litigation Paralegal. Rachel Wheeler steps into the role of Senior Litigation Administrator, and Teresa Langdown has been appointed Head of Group Operations.
Within the commercial and charities team, promotions include Tomos Lewis becoming Legal Director and Stephen Duxfield‑Karyakin stepping up as Senior Solicitor. Meanwhile, in the Employment, Pensions, Benefits and Immigration (EPBI) team, Madeleine Mould has been promoted to Senior Associate.
In business support services, alongside new Finance Director Stuart Robinson, Sarah Pierre‑Powell becomes an Associate within the risk team, and Yanna Antoniou takes on the role of IT Applications Support Team Leader.
