Blake Morgan rewards 57 lawyers and support staff in latest promotions round

Leading law firm Blake Morgan has confirmed the promotion of 57 lawyers and support staff across its offices on the South Coast, the Thames Valley, London and Cardiff.

This latest round of promotions reflects each individual’s commitment to delivering practical, commercially focused legal solutions for clients, as well as their contribution to the ongoing success of the firm.

Following an exceptional year, the Property team celebrates 20 promotions across the regions. Matthew Bell, Adam Carbis and Steven Thom have each been promoted to Legal Director, supported by Natalie Lawley, Andrew Morgan, Victoria Morley-Jones and Rachel Sales, who all step up to Senior Associate.

Also within the Property team, Tanya Barrett, Holly Dobbins, David George, Rhiannon Peploe-Williams and Charlotte West are promoted to Associate, while Charlene Armstrong, Lance Davis, Leoni Dempsey and Soul Kayoueche become Senior Solicitors. Matt Ivey and Rachel Shepherd progress to Senior Paralegal, with Emma Fell and Wahhaj Hassan taking on new roles as Paralegals.

The Regulatory team also marks a successful year with promotions to Legal Director for James Danks, Antonia Dowgray and Delme Griffiths. Katherine Blackburn and Matthew Corrie have been promoted to Senior Associate, and Katherine Plunkett becomes a Senior Solicitor.

In the Commercial Litigation team, the promotions of Conor Daly and Ben Evans to Legal Director reflect another strong year. David Moore becomes an Associate, while Tom Beard and Olivia Shenton-Taylor move up to Senior Solicitor.

Within the Employment, Pensions, Benefits and Immigration (EPBI) teams, Gillian McCue and Sean McNulty step up to Legal Director. Vicky Schollar becomes a Senior Associate, Maddie Mould is promoted to Associate, and Nia Pawley progresses to Senior Solicitor.

The Banking and Finance team celebrates four promotions: Paul Duggan becomes Legal Director, Danielle Collett-Bruce and Katherine Tan are promoted to Senior Associate, and Jake Holmes becomes an Associate.

In the Construction team, Keith Lancaster is promoted to Legal Director, with Charlotte Neads stepping up to Senior Associate and Adrian Noviss to Associate. Sadie Pitman is also promoted to Senior Solicitor.

The Private Client team marks four promotions. Jennifer Williamson becomes Legal Director, with Ben Coulson and Rachel Giles promoted to Associate, and Stephen Evans stepping into a Senior Solicitor role.

In the Commercial and Charities teams, Tomos Lewis becomes Associate, while Ollie Clymow and Laura Sherratt progress to Senior Solicitor, recognising their strong contributions — including their support to charities during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Corporate team sees Daniel Conway promoted to Associate, with Vicky Bills and Amy Murphy becoming Senior Solicitors. Both will continue advising across mergers, acquisitions and disposals. In the Commercial Recoveries team, Hannah Smith-Herne is promoted to Associate.

In addition to fee-earner promotions, Karen Kirk becomes Risk Director, and within her team Jack Wiseman-White is promoted to Senior Associate.
