Blake Morgan support Sue Ryder

Oxford based solicitors Blake Morgan has teamed up with Sue Ryder Palliative Care Hub South Oxfordshire in a two year corporate fundraising partnership.

The partnership will run until 2023 and will see the staff at the office supporting Sue Ryder in a variety of ways.

Sue Ryder was nominated for the support by Susannah Treherne, a partner in the Private Client Succession and Tax team. Sue Ryder was subsequently shortlisted and then voted for overwhelmingly by the rest of the Oxford Office.

Susannah said:

I nominated Sue Ryder Palliative Care Hub South Oxfordshire because it provides such an invaluable service for those suffering from a variety of life limiting illnesses and also for their families.

She added: “My father received end of life care from Sue Ryder. Since his death I have wanted to give something back to this wonderful charity who employ the most caring and attentive staff. They really do provide the most person centred care in the most sensitive way.

“Once the opportunity arose to nominate Sue Ryder as the charity for our office to support I jumped at the chance and I am so pleased that other colleagues wish to support this cause as well.

“Sue Ryder is so deserving and touches so many people’s lives in so many ways.”

Gemma Wise, Head of Community Fundraising for Sue Ryder Palliative Care Hub South Oxfordshire said: “It is wonderful to see how Blake Morgan wants to support our service with their fundraising efforts.

“In doing so they are supporting people with life limiting conditions and their families to be cared for in the local community with our expert and compassionate care.

“We are so grateful for their support.”
