Blake Morgan’s Family and Professional Negligence teams honoured by Times Best Law Firms 2020

This week the Times launched their inaugural Best Law Firms Guide. The listing recognises the expertise and quality of advice delivered by leading law firms and is entirely peer selected.

Working with international market research company Statista more than 20,000 solicitors in the UK were asked for their opinions, including some of Blake Morgan’s legal teams. Hundreds of firms were recommended and the research team whittled them down to a top 200.  Congratulations to Blake Morgan’s Family and Professional Negligence teams who have been recognised by the guide.

The accolade follows a successful year for the firm’s Private Client division after all three family teams were ranked across the Chambers and Legal 500 directories. Team members Catherine Morgan, Christine Plews, Flora Grossman and Simon Burge were also individually recognised by the directories for the quality advice provided to their clients on a wide range of family matters.

Commenting on the listing Helen Bunker, Head of Private Client, said: ‘I am so pleased that the Family team have been recognised, particularly with an award nominated by their peers’.

Blake Morgan’s Professional Negligence also received a Band 1 ranking in Chambers and Tier 2 in Legal 500. Richard Portlock was commended by Chambers for his experience representing claimants in complex tax, trusts and planning claims.
