Blake Morgan has been given a resounding show of strength in Chambers and Partners High Net Worth 2018 – the authoritative guide to private wealth advisers – with the inclusion of four lawyers who are described as being ‘clearly focussed on high levels of client service’ and ‘easy to work with’.

Published annually, the third edition of the guide covers private wealth management  and related specialisms in key jurisdictions around the world, featuring in-depth editorial about the leading lawyers and law firms for wealthy individuals and families.

Chambers High Net Worth also features listings and information about the top accountancy and tax firms, private banks, wealth management firms and multi-family offices acting for high net worth individuals.

The Blake Morgan team is noted for being ‘well-regarded’ and ‘clearly focussed on high levels of client service’ in its work with UK and international families. A source is quoted as saying: “I have been very impressed with their real attention to detail, dotting the I’s and crossing the t’s.”

Partners Stephanie Walls, James Greig and Mark Spash are named as notable practitioners. With Helen Bunker, James heads the wills, probate, tax and trust team based in the Thames Valley. He specialises in trusts and high-end probate and inheritance tax planning. Stephanie is a specialist litigator with expertise in private wealth disputes and leads the team handling succession and trust disputes. She frequently acts for individuals in Inheritance Act and contentious trust claims.

Mark heads the London succession and tax team and advises both domestic and international clients on a wide range of complex tax and succession planning matters both onshore and offshore. He draws praise from peers and clients alike for his private client expertise. He is described as ‘experienced, reassuring, charming, technically strong and delivers good reliable work for a reasonable price’ and is ‘able to explain complex rules in plain English’.

Associate Philip Allen advises on tax and estate planning for business owners. He is described as being ‘easy to work with, down to earth and very comfortable on the complex requirements of an international nature.’
