- How do we measure whether AI investments are actually creating value in people-related outcomes?
Adding value
- How can HR best contribute to overall business effectiveness in a time of tight financial management?
- What issues are HR in the unique position to solve that no other part of the business can?
- How can we shift HR to being essential in business success and with a seat at the top table?
Data-driven decision making
- What data do you need to credibly talk about ROI of people initiatives?
- How can HR shift toward predictive, forward-looking insights rather than backward-looking reporting?
Measuring alignment
- How do you know when HR is truly aligned with the business?
- Do you use metrics, relationships or instinct?
Re-skilling HR?
- Do we need to seek HR team members with key skills such as data literacy, commercial experience, technology fluency?
- Does the HR function invest in its own capabilities, and is it keeping pace?
Outcome from session
During our discussion we will explore what HR alignment with business means in practice, how it can be achieved and look at current conditions in the UK workforce environment that may impact this.
Session format
The format of the session will be a round-table discussion and we will focus on the topics that are of most interest to attendees.
The topics set out above are amongst those that we will debate at our forum. However, please note that we may not touch on all the areas listed.
After the session we will circulate to attendees a summary report of the topics discussed and the ideas put forward to address the issues.
