It’s been yet another busy 12 months in the world of information governance. As well as the huge data challenges brought about by the Coronavirus pandemic, we’ve seen high profile fines issued to British Airways and Marriott International, and the demise of the EU-US Privacy Shield. With the end of the Brexit transition period almost upon us, the next 12 months are likely to be equally eventful.

In this session, led by data protection expert, Jon Belcher, we looked back at some of the recent trends and challenges for information governance in the public sector, and looked forward to what 2021 may bring.
