Blake Morgan's HR Forum April 2018

Posted by William Downing on
We invite you to the first HR Forum of our spring series of lunchtime HR Forums. Our seminars allow for networking with fellow HR professionals over lunch followed by a presentation with the opportunity to ask questions and share thoughts and views on developing areas and best practice.

In our first Forum on 26 April 2018 we will be focusing on GDPR and Gender Pay Gap Reporting.

Just one month ahead of the GDPR becoming law, we will asking what final checks you should be conducting to ensure you are ready for 25 May and considering practical tips on the best way of meeting your new data protection obligations. In particular we will look at:

  • the documents / policies you should have in place;
  • what you need to be telling job applicants, current staff and ex-staff on whom you are still holding personal data;
  • what amendments you may need to make to existing employment contracts and the template contract you use for new joiners.

Gender Pay Gap Reporting

With the passing of the deadline on 4 April 2018 for larger private and voluntary sector employers (those with 250 employees or more) to publish their first gender pay gap report, we will consider practical examples of what employers have been doing to meet their obligations in this respect.

To register for our April Forum, please click on the RSVP button above. If you have colleagues in your office that you feel would like to attend, please do not forward this invitation, which is specific to you, but please click on the 'invite a colleague' button above.

We look forward to seeing you.
