Swansea city centre development
Blake Morgan's planning team were pleased to assist the Council of the City and County of Swansea in the submission of an application that will see the most coherent redevelopment of the city centre since gaining city status in 1969.

The Council are seeking outline planning permission for an ambitious vibrant mixed-use regeneration scheme that will transform the city centre.

With part of the application relating to a new indoor arena mooted for commencement as early as next year, Swansea will be a major draw for shows and concerts.

It is an exciting time for Swansea and the South Wales region after the UK Government provided backing to the tune of £116m toward the Swansea Bay City Region deal last month, demonstrating the momentum behind the regeneration of South West Wales and putting the Principality at the forefront of science and innovation.
