Blake Morgan advises shareholders on the sale of Deverill
Leading law firm Blake Morgan has advised the shareholders of Deverill on the sale of the company to 365itms, a leading UK IT services provider based in Reading.
Corporate partner Stephen Archibald led a team of corporate specialists including Christian Hazelton and Simon Court. Advice was also given by Sarah Peacock and Alison Westbrook.
Spectrum Corporate Finance, led by Southampton-based Darren Miller, acted as lead adviser, completing a thorough marketing and sales process and project managing the deal through to a successful completion.
Deverill has been providing IT services, solutions and training for over 30 years to a wide range of clients, from SMEs to large enterprises, public and private sector schools and colleges, the NHS, professional firms, local authorities, housing associations and charities.
The acquisition has cemented the position of 365itms as one of the UK’s leading IT managed service providers to the corporate market. It has also doubled the size of the company to a £20-million-turnover business, and expanded its geographical reach across the south.
The two organisations boast some of the highest-level vendor accreditations including VMWare, HP, Cisco, Microsoft, Dell, Citrix and a range of other leading manufacturers.
Commenting on the deal, Stephen Archibald said: "This was a complex and challenging transaction but we drew on expertise from across the firm to achieve this excellent result for our client. This is an exciting acquisition as the combined organisations will now be able to provide an enhanced range of services and solutions. We wish both parties every success for the future."
Joel Jervis, managing director at Deverill, commented: "I would like to thank the team at Blake Morgan for their professionalism and dedication to ensuring that the deal was completed successfully. The expert advice they provided throughout the acquisition process was second to none."
