Blake Morgan merger in Wales
Law firms Morgan Cole and Blake Lapthorn have merged to create Blake Morgan.
The firm is now a Top 50 UK* law firm with a combined annual turnover of £72 million and 120 partners, making a total workforce of approximately 900 spread across Wales and Southern England.
With offices in Cardiff, Swansea, London, Oxford, Reading, Portsmouth and Southampton, Emyr Lewis takes the role of Senior Partner in Wales. The managing partner of Blake Morgan is Walter Cha, formerly managing partner of Blake Lapthorn, and the Chief Operating Officer will be Elizabeth Carr, formerly managing partner of Morgan Cole. The Co-Chairs will be Stephen Murfitt and Bruce Potter, former chairs of Blake Lapthorn and Morgan Cole respectively.
