Before joining our Clinical Negligence team Jacqui had over 18 years of experience as a registered nurse
Main areas of practice
During the course of her employment as a nurse, with both the NHS and the Royal Navy, Jacqui gained extensive experience in many fields, including general surgery, emergency care and general practice.
Jacqui now uses this experience to liaise with clients, assess medical records, research the clinical backgrounds to cases and advise on levels of care within her fields of speciality.
Jacqui provides essential support to both our Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury teams and also occasionally assists our Travel and Regulatory teams. She has been involved in a wide range of claims, using her clinical knowledge and nursing background to obtain relevant information from clients and assess medical records.
Jacqui received specialist training in Operating Department nursing with an interest in orthopaedics and plastic surgery. She worked in these specialities for 6 years before joining Blake Lapthorn.
