Kirsteen is an Property Litigation Senior Associate dealing with all aspects of property damage claims and insurance coverage disputes.

Main areas of practice

Kirsteen's case load ranges from tree root claims to multi-party construction matters, including Policy Coverage disputes, recoveries, pollution claims and manufacturing recovery work.

Her previous experience centred upon professional indemnity work, from Solicitors defence work to architectural, engineering and surveyor disputes.

Significant experience 

  • Working with and advising a Local Authority on the development and running of a complaints and claims handling process to address all non-PI claims; requiring co-ordination and clear reporting parameters across several separate departments;
  • Successfully concluding a complex farming “neighbour dispute” between two landowners and brokering an ongoing method of working;
  • Taking multi-million pound claims to the Court of Appeal and to the House of Lords.
