Ben Wilson
Associate
Ben is an Associate in the Employment team, based in our Cardiff office.
Main areas of practice
Ben advises on a variety of employment law matters for both private and public sector clients.
Ben has experience in the Employment Tribunal dealing with unfair dismissal and discrimination claims. Ben drafts and advises on directors’ service agreements, employment contracts, staff handbooks and settlement agreements. He also assists on the employment aspects of corporate transactions.
Ben prepares and presents training sessions to clients across a broad spectrum of employment law issues both remotely and in person.

Career
During his undergraduate degree, Ben undertook a Professional Placement Year at Hugh James Solicitors in 2018. He graduated from Cardiff University in 2020 with a 2:1. He went on to study the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University, achieving a distinction. Whilst studying the Legal Practice Course, Ben also worked part-time at Hugh James Solicitors.
Ben joined Blake Morgan as a Trainee Solicitor in March 2022 and qualified as a solicitor in March 2024.
He was promoted to Associate in July 2026.
