Nirosha is an Associate in the Regulatory team, with a wide range of experience in professional discipline and regulatory law.
Main areas of practice
Nirosha has a broad area of expertise with a focus on professional discipline. She advises and acts on behalf of professional regulatory bodies regarding fitness to practise and related investigations.
Nirosha primarily acts for large healthcare professional regulators, notably the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the Health and Care Professions Council.
Nirosha has an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Kent and subsequently completed her Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and Master of Laws with BPP Law School. Nirosha qualified as a Solicitor in 2019.
Prior to joining Blake Morgan, Nirosha worked for healthcare regulators, also conducting advocacy at tribunal hearings; a professional body regulating insurance professionals; the local government; and in private practice. Nirosha initially specialised in commercial law, before moving into regulatory law.
