Blake Morgan advise on disposal of corporate intelligence firm

Posted on 24th April 2025

Leading law firm Blake Morgan advised Greyhawk Intelligence Group Limited on its acquisition by Mintz Group Limited.

Blake Morgan acted for the sellers of Greyhawk, a UK-based corporate intelligence firm that holds multiple Chambers rankings in the Litigation Support and Crisis & Risk Management categories.

This has enabled the buyers, a leading risk advisory and investigations firm, which operates across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, to expand into emerging markets.

Multiple teams acted for Blake Morgan on the deal, which was led by Corporate Partner Martin Kay. He was supported by Corporate Associate Sara Trevor, Tax Partner Rob Thomas, Bob Cordran (Partner) and Imogen Higgins-Smith (Associate), both Employment, Pensions Legal Director Gillian McCue and Property Solicitor Matthew Ivey.

Martin Kay, Corporate Partner at Blake Morgan, commented:

“This deal was a pleasure for the BM team to have worked on – providing a great platform for Greyhawk’s international expansion and for its founders, Steve Haynes and Edward Palmer, to join the Mintz Group leadership team.”

Edward Palmer, Director of Greyhawk Intelligence Group Limited, commented:

From start to finish, the Blake Morgan team was responsive, knowledgeable and on top of the detail. Martin was authoritative and firm during negotiations but delivered all the difficult points with huge charm. It was a great pleasure working with the whole team.
