Blake Morgan is joining forces with other influential businesses and member organisations of Business South as it helps promote the Central South region, under its new ‘global gateway’ identity, at MIPIM 2022.

The property and investment show, which takes place in Cannes, France from 15-18 March, attracts over 26,000 attendees from all sectors of the international property industry, and more than 5,000 investors and 560 political leaders from over 100 countries. The Central South region contributes more than £119 billion to the UK economy and has a workforce of more than one million people.

Business South is championing the Central South at MIPIM with a number of headline partners, including Blake Morgan, and the law firm’s Central South team at the event will be led by Business Development Director, John Parkinson.

The Business South party travelling to MIPIM will also include representatives from Savills, Barker Mill Estates, Boyle+Summers, Barton Willmore, Lambert Smith Hampton, Terence O’Rourke, Willmott Dixon, Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council, Southampton City Council, BCP Council and Solent LEP with support from Southampton Airport, Fawley Waterside, Winchester City Council and Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company.

The consortium will be proudly promoting its ‘future-ready’ credentials at the Central South stand in P-1J10. On Thursday 17 March, Blake Morgan will be hosting a drinks reception with a focus on Tomorrow’s Central South City Centres – exploring how they can successfully survive change.

Business South Group CEO, Leigh-Sara Timberlake, said:

We worked with our partners to develop a vision for the Central South as a way of promoting all that is good in our region to a global audience. We firmly believe this will position the region as a strong proposition in the minds of potential investors.

Phil Jardine, Head of Blake Morgan’s Property Services Group, will also be representing the firm at MIPIM along with Joanna Rees, Partner in the Construction team.
