Difficult conversations at work

Chartered Management Institute’s article on the Top Ten Difficult Conversations shows that a third of us in Britain, find it harder to discuss
feedback on poor performance than to dump a partner. All the top four most difficult conversations are work-based scenarios. It emphasises the critical importance of training our managers to have the competence and confidence to conduct effective conversations. The consequences of not doing so are potentially disastrous.
