Blake Morgan's Public Sector Network - Jan 16

Posted by Eve Piffaretti on
We would like to invite you to our forthcoming Public Sector Network seminar at our Cardiff office on Wednesday 16 January 2019, specifically for those in the public and third sector.

Please note that this event is now full. Look out for future events on our website.

The session will consider the common problems encountered in procurement challenges and give advice on how these can be avoided. We will also be providing you with an update on some recent case law in this field.

Joanne Thompson and Sarah Whittle of Blake Morgan will be joined by Patrick Halliday of 11KBW Chambers, who was the junior counsel who represented NHS England in defending a challenge brought to its largest ever single medicines procurement.  Patrick will be discussing the recent case of Faraday Development Ltd v West Berkshire Council in which the Court of Appeal has given important guidance on development agreements and options. It is also the first case in England and Wales in which the court has made a declaration of ineffectiveness.

If you have any queries about this seminar please email us.

We do hope you are able to join us.
