Event details:

  • It's been almost three months since implementation of the GDPR and many employers are now dealing with its practical implications on a daily basis. In our first case study we look at a number of challenging issues such as the processing of special categories of personal data, key data management issues arising during and after employment as well as the potential risks of personal data breaches because of the actions of third parties.
  • Satisfying the different needs of millennials, baby boomers and generation X can be challenging but, regardless of age, flexible working is often cited as the most attractive benefit an employer can offer. What are the challenges in offering flexibility at work, is homeworking the answer to the daily grind of commuting and what do we mean by agile working? In our second case study we look the practical issues arising out of flexible working arrangements and the problems that may occur.
  • There have been a number of employment law developments since our Spring seminars and in our Employment Law update we will consider the most significant legal changes and case law decisions.

There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion about recent developments and time for questions with your HR colleagues and members of our Employment team and we hope you can join us.

If you can't make our Swansea event, here are the dates for our other Employment Club Seminars:
