Secret Santa visits Oxford's children in need

Christmas has come early for disadvantaged children in Oxford thanks to local law firm Morgan Cole and healthcare research company Picker Institute Europe.

More than 30 children aged 1 – 16 years old who are cared for by the Oxfordshire Thriving Families programme have been given Christmas presents of their choice by staff at Morgan Cole and Picker Institute Europe, both of which are based at Buxton Court in Oxford. Presents include games, computer equipment and vouchers for local stores.

Chloe Hubbert, a Chartered Legal Executive with Morgan Cole arranged the presents along with colleague Laura Brown. Chloe explains why they wanted to help local children: "As a firm, we take our responsibilities to the communities in which we operate seriously and work hard to manage our business responsibly for long term success. We have many different local community initiatives in the area including the ‘Giving Tree’ in Thames Valley. It was the success of that project that inspired us to set-up Secret Santa. We really hope that Secret Santa will become an annual project and that we will be able to help more children next year."
