Prashant Dave

Prashant is an experienced real estate lawyer based in our London office, advising on all aspects of commercial real estate with a particular emphasis on the restaurant and leisure sector, asset management and development.

Main areas of practice

He advises on the full range of commercial real estate work including acquisitions and disposals, leasing (for both landlords and tenants) and development. He has particular expertise in the restaurant and leisure sector acting for occupiers on the acquisition and disposal of sites.

Prashant’s clients include a number of restaurant operators, landed estates (both urban and rural), property developers and charities.

Significant experience

Restaurant/Leisure: acting for a number of restaurant operators (including well known chains) on their restaurant acquisitions, including high value sites in central London.
Landed estates: on-going asset management advice including leasing, development and land promotion.
Development: acting on a number of commercial and residential development projects from site acquisition/assembly through to pre-lets, funding (including forward funding) and finally disposals of the completed and let investment.
Charities: disposals of land for charities often with complex overage arrangements as well as general asset management advice. Also acting for a number of charities on their charity shop leases.
