Blake Morgan London team celebrates success in the Legal Directories

Blake Morgan’s team and leading individuals in London have been recognised for the strength and depth of their expertise in the 2018 editions of the prestigious Legal 500 and the Chambers & Partners 2019 UK guide.

Both directories review and recognise the strengths of law firms and their lawyers across the UK and recommends them based on feedback from clients and peers.

In this year’s Legal 500, Blake Morgan has been ranked as a Tier 1 firm in 32 practice areas across the UK, including achieving a top-tier rating for the firm’s Professional Discipline practice in London. Legal 500 also lists two London partners as ‘leading individuals’ – an accolade that recognises those lawyers who have demonstrated sector leadership and expertise.

Those lawyers listed as ‘leading individuals’ are partner Ian Skuse from the commercial contracts and travel practice, and professional discipline partner, Nick Leale.  A further 53 individuals from Blake Morgan’s London team are listed as ‘recommended’. In total, the firm saw 30 lawyers listed as ‘leading individuals’.

Blake Morgan also performed strongly in the Chambers and Partners 2019 UK guide with 20 practice areas listed as ‘band one’ – the top tier. In London, the Real Estate (Lower Mid-Market) team was ranked in the second band for quality and service. Social housing partner Kate Silverman and urban regeneration partner Sara Hanrahan were also singled out for their work.

Across the UK, 22 lawyers were award Band 1 status and 12 were listed as ‘associates to watch’.
