Multiple nominations for Blake Morgan at the Dealmakers Awards

Blake Morgan has been shortlisted in four different categories at the Wales Dealmakers Awards 2023.

The leading law firm’s corporate expertise has been recognised with nominations in multiple categories – Corporate Law Firm of the Year, Deal of the Year, Private Equity / Venture Capital Deal of the Year and Small Business Deal of the Year.

The deals scene in Wales has got back on track with some landmark acquisitions, funding deals and buyouts over the last 12 months.

The awards will spotlight the top company transactions over the year, and the corporate finance advisers, company dealmakers, lawyers and funders that made them happen.

The first award that Blake Morgan were shortlisted for is the Corporate Law Firm of the Year, which is for the law firm based within Wales which has had the most outstanding year advising Wales-based businesses on completed transactions during the qualifying period.

The Deal of the Year award is for the standout acquisition, sale, funding, buyout, buy-in or flotation deal with a Wales-based business as its subject in the qualifying period. The Private Equity / Venture Capital Deal of the Year award is for the most significant private equity/venture capital-backed deal involving a business in Wales during the qualifying period.

Finally, the Small Business Deal of the Year award is for the standout acquisition, sale, funding, buyout, buy-in or flotation deal with a Wales-based business with a turnover of less than £25m as its subject.

The Dealmakers Awards will take place on Thursday, 28 September at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel.
