Highlights

Acted for Tidal Lagoon Power predominantly in respect of the proposed Swansea Bay and Cardiff lagoons, with work including options, leases for the landfall parts of the lagoons, leases for laydown areas, easements for access roads, easements for underground cabling and access licences.

We acted for the developer of an anaerobic digestion plant in which food and agricultural waste is turned into a methane rich biogas. Blake Morgan advised on all funding issues, construction contracts and all commercial and tax issues for the generation and supply of methane gas to fuel electricity generators to feed into the National Grid, powering up to 1300 homes. Heat is recovered in the CHP and recycled back into the process and nutrients are recovered and used as fertiliser.
