Flora is a divorce and matrimonial finance specialist based in our London office who advises on the full spectrum of financial issues arising during divorce and separation including cohabitation disputes. Flora is also experienced in representing parents in complex cases involving children, many of which have an international element. She is also a trained mediator. She assists clients in the London and Thames Valley region and deals with cases in all the London family courts as well as Guildford and Reading.

Main areas of practice 

Flora is an accredited Resolution Specialist panel member in high net worth financial matters and has also been a member of the Law Society's Children Panel for over 15 years. Her main areas of practice include divorce and separation and those financial issues arising thereon including maintenance, lump sum, property adjustment and pension sharing orders. She also has particular experience dealing with TOLATA and Schedule 1 Children Act Claims.

Flora also regularly deals with a range of issues in relation to children that can arise including adoption and surrogacy, alternative family structures and those cases where parents seek leave to remove their children from the Jurisdiction.       


Flora deals with a wide range of mid to high net worth clients who are experiencing relationship breakdown and has considerable experience in dealing with the division of business assets following a divorce.                               

Flora also assists those clients who are experiencing difficulties in relation to resolving arrangements for their children and she has been involved in acting for a number of high profile individuals.

Flora has acquired over 20 years' experience exclusively in family law. Flora is an experienced advocate and is particularly experienced in representing parents in complex children cases. She was instructed as solicitor for the Mother in the case of Re H ( a child) (2013) a case outlining the approach to be taken by the courts in situations involving alleged domestic abuse. She has also recently had a number of successful outcomes in the Court of Appeal.
