Dawn is a Partner in our Built Environment division. She specialises in the acquisition, funding, development and letting of commercial, industrial and residential property.
Main areas of practice
Dawn advises clients on a wide range of Real Estate matters, with a particular specialism in acting for clients on large scale development and regeneration projects, as well as portfolio management and investment sales. She is also highly experienced in all aspects of landlord and tenant matters and advising on energy and infrastructure projects.

Dawn has a broad spectrum of public, private and third sector clients including Copart Inc, Bad Wolf Studios, the Welsh Government, the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames, Cardiff and Vale College, Cardiff Metropolitan University and the Royal National Institute of Blind People.

Career
Dawn gained her Law Degree and Legal Practice Certificate at Cardiff University before joining another Cardiff based firm where she spent the first 10 years of her career before joining Blake Morgan in January 2016.

Significant Experience
- Acts for large retail and food chains dealing principally with the drafting and negotiation of development agreements and leases for new retail units, including Costa Coffee, Canary Wharf and Crabtree & Evelyn.
- Recent work includes acting for an independent television production company, Bad Wolf, in connection with the grant of the lease of Wales' biggest ever film studios in Trident Park.
