John is a Solicitor in the Intellectual Property team. He has experience in advising on a variety of IP matters including trade marks, copyright and design rights.
Main areas of practice
John specialises in a wide range of Intellectual property issues. He also has experience advising on commercial contracts including information technology contracts, IP licences and assignments and service supply contracts. In addition he has an interest in the use of Blockchain and artificial intelligence and is a member of a sub-working group of Tech London Advocates Blockchain, focussed on Legal & Compliance matters.
John acts for a variety of clients from tech start-ups to national organisations.
John graduated from Southampton University with a degree in Modern History and Politics and worked on President Obama’s re-election campaign in 2012. He joined Blake Morgan in 2019.
