Kaya Williams

Kaya is a trainee solicitor in her penultimate seat in the Cardiff office. After completing her first seat in construction and second in Commercial litigation, she is currently in her commercial and charities seat.

Main areas of practice

Kaya assists her colleague with a wide range of contract reviews and amendments. During her seat she has also conducted many data subject access requests. Kaya also attends client meetings both via zoom and in person. Throughout the seat, Kaya has completed several research tasks to progress client matters.

Career

Kaya graduated from her LLB in 2021 and then completed the combined Legal Practice Course and Masters in 2022. All of Kaya’s studies were completed at Cardiff University.

She went on to work for Cardiff University as a contracts assistant (paralegal) for the research and innovation team.

Kaya attended the vacation scheme with Blake Morgan in June 2023 and started her training contract at the firm in March 2024.
