Kaya Williams

Kaya is a trainee solicitor in the first seat in the Construction team. She supports senior team members on several matters ranging from adjudication to amending collateral warranties. Within her role, she drafts, amends, and reviews a variety of legal documents promptly and has attended client meetings and created attendance notes to reflect discussions.

Main areas of practice

Kaya deals with both contentious and non-contentious construction matters. She supports the construction team in all aspects of their projects, including construction contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties and adjudications.

Clients

Within her role, she supports a range of clients from engineers, to contractors to employers.

Career

Kaya graduated from her LLB in 2021 and then completed the combined Legal Practice Course and Masters in 2022. All of Kaya’s studies were completed at Cardiff University.

She went on to work for Cardiff University as a contracts assistant (paralegal) for the research and innovation team.

Kaya attended the vacation scheme with Blake Morgan in June 2023 and started her training contract at the firm in March 2024.
