Mark heads up the London residential property team and specialises in all aspects of residential property law. He has built a good reputation with his clients and contacts, many of whom have now become life-long friends and continues to build his practice acting for a diverse background of clients from the UK and throughout the world.

Main areas of practice

Mark’s main area of practice is private property matters for individuals and trust companies and acting for central London banks on high value secured lending transactions often involving very tight deadlines.

The clients Mark represents are from all walks of life and backgrounds ranging from private individuals, entrepreneurs, a number of high profile clients, overseas investors, trust companies and most lending institutions.

Significant experience

Mark has significant experience in the residential property market and throughout his career has acted on a number of large London estates dealing with both freehold and leasehold transactions. He is able to pull together often at very short notice expertise from other professionals, such as surveyors, mortgage lenders and insurance companies to assist his clients in providing a fully rounded and collaborative service to meet the demands of their busy lives.

Mark has worked with a number of large London legal firms; including Lawrence Graham and prior to joining Blake Morgan was a lawyer with Mishcon De Reya in their private client team acting for a number of high profile clients and often complex residential property transactions. He has over 25 years’ experience and has spent most of his career in Central London. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives having first qualified in 2000.

Additional Expertise

Mark has acted for a number of large property developers on off plan sales and transactions and has travelled throughout South East Asia attending property exhibitions with developer clients dealing with reporting and exchanging contracts sometimes in a matter of hours.

Mark was the sole author of a legal reference guide “Conveyancing Factfinder” published by Jordan’s and further edited by him for a number of years.
