Career

Neel has a strong understanding of professional discipline and fitness to practice. Prior to joining Blake Morgan, Neel was an Assistant Advocate at a leading national law firm, where his main client was the Teaching Regulation Agency. Neel worked on a broad range of alleged misconduct, involving alleged sexual, racial, financial impropriety, health and dishonesty concerns, as well as cases following a teacher’s criminal conviction.

After finishing his legal studies, Neel worked as a Senior Paralegal at the General Dental Council. Working in the In-House Legal Presentation Service, Neel assisted with substantive case preparation in addition to interim orders and restoration applications.

Neel was called to the Bar by the Inner Temple. Prior to studying for the Bar, Neel worked at the Department for Exiting the European Union before obtaining an MSc in Mental Health, Ethics and Law at King’s College London.

Neel received a Major Scholarship from the Inner Temple, which facilitated his Bar Practice Course at the University of Law. In addition, Neel was awarded an Advocacy Scholarship by the University of Law. Neel studied for his LLB at the University of Exeter.
