Paul is a Senior Associate within the highly regarded Thames Valley Employment law team. He provides astute and commercial advice on all employment law issues and is complimented for being pragmatic and practical.

Main areas of practice

Paul is accustomed to guiding clients through complex legal situations and commercially difficult circumstances, ranging from handling sensitive allegations of discrimination to managing contentious exits of senior individuals. In addition Paul has considerable experience in the Employment Tribunal, having successfully defended clients facing multi issue complex claims, and appreciates the commercial pressure and reputational issues that can arise.

He has acted for a wide range of clients from newly formed start-ups, with distinct and exciting offerings, to large multi corporates based across the United Kingdom, In addition Paul has advised charities and public sector outfits.


Paul has an enviable range experience that means he is equally adapt to advising businesses of all sizes in relation to complex and sensitive issues or senior individuals on disputes or managed exits.



Paul qualified as a solicitor in 2007 after completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law London.  Paul has, before joining Blake Morgan, worked for well-regarded Legal 500 firms in the Thames Valley.

Significant Experience

  • Advised the Board of an SME involved in the production of bespoke premium alcohol on the removal of their Chief Executive Officer
  • Advised a limited company in the defence sector on the dismissal of a senior director and large shareholder for gross misconduct and represented the company at the subsequent Employment Tribunal proceedings
  • Successfully led the negotiation for a high net worth individual at a Judicial Mediation and achieved a 5 figure settlement
  • Advised an SME involved in the technology industry with regard to a director and a number of employees breaching their restrictive covenants and actively competing against the company, including preliminary Court proceedings for Pre-Action disclosure.
