Within our international trade law offering, our experts advise on:
Sanctions
We advise clients on what they can and cannot do under sanctions legislation and the consequences of any sanctions violations. We draft appropriate contractual protections and advise on the consequences of sanctions on existing contracts and investments. We advise on compliance programmes and provide training. Our expertise covers both financial and trade sanctions.
Export controls
We advise on the application of export controls to products and on whether exemptions or licences may be available.
Customs
We advise on all aspects of the import and export of goods and customs, including classification and quotas, country of origin, and customs enquiries and investigations.
Anti-dumping
We advise on anti-dumping and anti-subsidy legislation and related investigations.
Sustainability
We advise on topics such as deforestation, supply chain due diligence rules and decarbonisation measures.
Free Trade Agreements

Implications of Brexit
We advise on the EU-UK Trade Cooperation Agreement and on legal risks associated with Brexit, including supply chain risk (tariffs and other sources of trade friction), regulatory divergence, human resources and the cross border provision of services.
