Diversity at Blake Morgan

Blake Morgan is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment. This means that all job applicants, employees and partners will receive equal treatment regardless of race, colour, ethnic or national origin, gender, marital status, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief.

Blake Morgan ensures that everyone is equally valued, respected, and treated with dignity and fairness. Bullying, harassment, unfair discrimination and unacceptable behaviours will not be tolerated.

How we achieve this is summarised in our principles

We recognise that the motivation of staff is critical to the successful achievement of its business objectives and are aware that there are many demands on employees, both inside and outside the workplace.

Increasingly staff have to balance their career aspirations and work responsibilities, with a wide range of domestic ones, including both the care of children and elderly or infirm relatives.

We will always consider any flexible working proposals from existing and prospective employees as a way of attracting and retaining talent.

We monitor our diversity amongst our workforce by asking all staff to complete a survey, details of our latest results can be found below.

Diversity in recruitment

Blake Morgan's recruitment procedures are regularly reviewed to ensure that applications are attracted from as wide and diverse a pool of applicants as possible.  This applies to the location and design of job advertisements as well as ensuring that job descriptions, person specifications, application forms and any other sources of recruitment information are free of any language that could be considered to cause indirect discrimination.

Recruitment procedures are also designed to ensure that there are equal opportunities in all stages of the recruitment process.
