Success for Blake Morgan’s London team in latest Legal 500 directory

Blake Morgan’s London office has won a stream of accolades in the 2021 edition of The Legal 500, reflecting the specialist expertise and industry standing of their teams and individual lawyers in the capital.

Each year, The Legal 500 reviews and benchmarks the strength of law firms and their lawyers based on extensive research and feedback from clients. For 2021, Blake Morgan secured 58 rankings, with 27 practice areas being ranked ‘Tier 1′ in recognition of delivering best-in-class service. 71 of the firm’s lawyers also received individual recognition.

In London, Blake Morgan secured 15 rankings, with its Professional Discipline practice achieving ‘Tier 1′ status in recognition of delivering best-in-class service.

Other practice areas recognised in the London directory included Healthcare, Travel, M&A, Private Client, Education and Planning. The firm’s work across healthcare in the public sector was singled out for its ‘fantastic ability to cut through the noise and get to the nub of the issue’ with another client commenting that ‘the way they work makes it feel as though they are an extension to the team rather than an external adviser’.  Similarly, the Private Client practice in London was described as ‘diligent and very client focused, empathetic to the client’s desired outcomes’, with partner Flora Grossman praised as “a fantastic, all-round practitioner” and for the “calm and meticulous approach to her work”.

The Legal 500 also lists five London lawyers as ‘Leading Individuals’ including Ian Skuse.  The Personal tax, trusts and probate team’s Arshoo Singh was highlighted as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ for her ‘excellent client manner’ and ‘clear, straightforward explanations of the law’. A further five lawyers across the London teams were identified as ‘Rising Stars’.
